File:To Do's.png Quite a few articles, i.e. most articles, do not have enough or any sources. This is quickly becoming unacceptable. We encourage members to locate and add sources to these articles. A list of articles in need of sources can be found at: Articles lacking sources. That list is by no means complete. There are countless other articles that need sources. Pieces of Heart are helpful in the Zelda universe, and they're helpful at Zelda Wiki.org. Here's a useful hint from the archive: The correct format for adding links to game titles from the Legend of Zelda series is using a piped link to the game's article, but showing the short version of the title and written in italics. For example you'd have to type this: ''[[The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker|The Wind Waker]]'' to display the correct link like this: The Wind Waker You might thing that seems like a lot of hard work, and you'd be right! So why not use a nifty shortcut? Templates have been set up enabling you to use the game's abbreviated initials to make the same link, so all you'd need to type in this example is: {{subst:TWW}} Once you save the page, this will be automatically replaced with the long-winded link above! File:Announcements.png We welcome the website LegendOfZelda.com as the newest Mastermind to Zelda Wiki.org. If you run a Legend of Zelda fansite why not become a part of Zelda Wiki? Zelda Wiki has now taken an active role at Facebook. If you're a member at Facebook become a fan and join the group. Spread the word of Zelda Wiki through the number one friend networking site on the web. April 15th, 2009 - We give many welcomes to Zelda Temple who is the newest site to join the masterminds of Zelda Wiki. April 10th, 2009 - Overhaul of Image Templates The staff as a whole have decided that our "Image Sourcing" policy wasn't working, since it mainly credited those who "re-distributed" images, and not their original creator, and was also open to potential abuse by linking to some sites more than others. The major change so far is that we now credit only an image's primary source, and not any secondary sources. Simply, all this means is that the old "FoundImage" and "C-nintendo" templates etc. have all been replaced with one, simple template: {{Copyright}} Check out the help pages for more information, and keep an eye out for a few more minor changes yet to come while the overall image policy is finalized! After a good deal of work, and several days of investigation, we've solved Zelda Wiki.org's server issues once and for all. Pages should load instantly now! From File:The heart container logo.png
